(NDI) Network Device Interface

Network Device Interface (NDI) is a royalty-free software standard developed by NewTek that allows video-compatible products to communicate, deliver, and receive broadcast-quality video over an IP network. The NDI standard enables devices such as cameras, video mixers, and graphics systems to be connected over a standard Ethernet network and allows for the sharing of high-quality, low-latency video and audio content. This makes it possible to bring high-quality video production to areas where traditional hardware-based solutions were previously too complex, expensive, or difficult to set up.
